CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver quality therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and contributing to patient care. Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in a relevant field, Texas licensure, and strong communication skills.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) (OP Rehab)
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) delivers quality therapy services to patients by implementing treatment in accordance with the established treatment plan to achieve goals and maximize functional outcomes in both inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) settings. The PTA provides care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and actively participates in discharge planning. The PTA is responsible for maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.
Services are delivered within an interdisciplinary team framework, including the patient and their significant others, in compliance with CommonSpirit, St. Joseph's mission, ethical standards, and policies and procedures.
