Remedy Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team serving West Los Angeles County. This role offers per diem, part-time, or full-time options with a flexible schedule and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

You will provide one-on-one in-home therapy, focusing on rehabilitation, mobility, and independence, under a licensed Physical Therapist. A supportive team environment and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license.
• Current CPR certification (AHA required).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (home health experience preferred).
• Strong interest in home health, rehab, and senior care.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy services following the established Plan of Care.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation programs.
• Support senior care patients in improving strength, balance, and independence.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete documentation using WellSky Kinnser EMR.

Your Role as a Home Health PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant)

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in home health, you will deliver skilled therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on rehabilitation, fall prevention, and functional mobility.
