Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabilitation in Beachwood, OH, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support the therapy team under the supervision of a licensed PT. The role involves assisting with plans of care, coordinating with staff, and contributing to patient education and care delivery.

Qualifications include PTA licensure and BLS certification; preferred candidates have prior experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
• Communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
• Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.
