Summary

We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our Arlington, WA location!

$35 - $45 / hour

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA, LPTA) performs treatments, provides exercise instructions, and patient education to improve or enhance patient well-being, following the established plan of care.

Responsibilities include adhering to state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care, following the treatment plan set by the supervising PT, performing only qualified procedures, and recommending changes to the plan of care as needed.

Instructs and assists patients with active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait, functional activities, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.

Observes, records, and reports patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse, or physician. Coordinates care with the healthcare team as appropriate.

Educates patients, families, caregivers, and team members within the scope of practice.

Education and Experience

License Requirements

  • Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in Washington State
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit
