Job summary

Polaris Transitional and Extended Care Center in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program full-time. You will work under a Physical Therapist supervision to provide rehabilitative treatment and support patients with physical functioning disorders.

New grads are welcome, licensure is required, and we offer a flexible schedule, competitive pay ($35-$45/hour), and a range of benefits to support work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Polaris Transitional and Extended Care Center –Anchorage, AK

Polaris Transitional and Extended Care Center in Anchorage, Alaska, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time:Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay Range $35.00 - $45.00hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.


• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
