Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate, design, and implement patient care plans aimed at improving function and reducing disability. You will lead initial evaluations, set goals, and document progress while collaborating with a wide referral network.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current Professional licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR Certification
• Ability to read, write, type and speak English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation of prescriptions, perform initial evaluation, and establish a plan of care with functional/work goals
• Progress treatment appropriately to meet goals
• Provide timely written communication to physicians
• Manage discharge process and patient follow-up
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and PTAs as applicable
• Document treatment and communications (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, SOAP notes, functional reports)
• Develop professional relationships with referral sources (physicians, PAs, ARNPs, chiropractors, case managers)
