Sunrise Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Las Vegas. The PT will manage comprehensive therapeutic care in coordination with physicians and the care team, developing individualized plans to drive patient outcomes and experience.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, setting plans of care, and delivering therapy sessions, with emphasis on goal achievement and patient engagement in both inpatient and home-based contexts.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Active Nevada state licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy.
• 1–2 years of hospital-based PT experience preferred; entry-level graduates considered.

• Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within scope of practice established by law and professional ethics.
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing the total plan of care.
• Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients home, following physician's plan of care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care. What you will do in this role:

• You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics
• You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care
• You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patient’s home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician’s plan of care
• You will instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions
• You will prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Nevada state licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy
• One to two years’ experience in hospital setting preferred.
• Entry-level graduates will be considered
