Job summary

Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat a wide variety of injuries and conditions using OT procedures. You will deliver goal-directed treatment programs and coordinate documentation for diverse patient populations across acute, sub-acute, rehab and outpatient settings.

You will assess data reflecting patient status, supervise occupational therapy assistants and rehab technicians, and tailor care to age-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Nevada State Occupational Therapist license.
• BCLS certification.
• One to two years’ hospital clinical experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Providing goal-directed treatment program planning/implementation, related documentation and communication for various patient populations.
• Evaluating, assessing, and treating patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac and other conditions across acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient OT.
• Supervising occupational therapy assistants and rehab technicians.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Our Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat a wide variety of injuries, diseases and disabilities using Occupational Therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with rules and regulations of this facility, the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, and rules and regulations established by the State of Nevada, Board of Professional Regulations. • You will be providing goal-directed treatment program planning/implementation, related documentation and communication for various patient populations
• You will be evaluating, assessing, and treating a wide variety of patients, including, but not limited to patients with: neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in the areas of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient occupational therapy
• You will be supervising occupational therapy assistants and rehab technicians
• You will be assessing and interpreting data reflective of the patients’ medical status and age specific needs in order to provide the appropriate care
