Work Schedule:

Per diem, day shift. Minimum requirement of one (1) weekend per month and one (1) holiday shift per year, including the associated weekend. Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience to:

• Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to University Hospital in acute care settings.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at maximizing functional outcomes and discharge readiness.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care within a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
• Pursue ongoing learning opportunities to enhance personal practice and educate colleagues.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.

Work Experience:

Preferred – Two (2) years of relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within three months of hire.
