Physical Therapist ‐ Acute ‐ (PT ‐ Acute)

Start Date: 7/14/2025 | Available Shifts: 8 D | Pay Rate: $1899.35 ‐ $2081.20

Shift Details: Days, 8am ‐ 4:30pm, holidays as needed

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• 2 years of experience in the specialty preferred, but candidates with 1 year experience or new grads will be considered
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
• If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years
• Willing to obtain the flu vaccine if offered

Job Responsibilities:

A Physical Therapist will examine patients to determine impairments related to injury or disease and develop a plan of care using treatment techniques to address impairments of movement, pain, and tissue healing. The goal is to improve function and prevent disability. Patient population includes outpatient orthopedic, geriatric, neurologic, and sports physical therapy.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist license (PT), Compact license accepted
• BLS-ACLS certification
• At least 1 reference in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel experience
