Job summary

BHS Baptist Healthcare System in Lexington, KY seeks a Physical Therapist for an inpatient, full-time days position to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document progress, and supervise students and Rehab Services Technicians in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current license by the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews charts and medical records.
• Follows plan of treatment and notifies referring provider of changes to treatment plan or goals.
• Plans treatment appropriately with input from patient.
• Receives and implements therapy orders.
• Completes evaluation forms, treatment notes, progress reports and discharge summaries promptly.
• Supervises students and Rehab Services Technicians.

• Completes evaluation form, treatment notes, progress reports, and D/C summaries in a timely manner, and appropriately submits to referring provider.
• Supervises/delegates/directs activities of students and Rehab Services Technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current license by the Ky Board of Physical Therapy
• BLS within 30 days from date of hire
