The Physical Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. The PT plans and modifies treatment programs for adult patients with clinical competency, as applicable.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.

REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
