Job summary

NHC HomeCare Greenwood is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Greenwood, SC. The PT will supervise and participate in applying physical therapy techniques for rehabilitation, in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The role requires a BS/MS in Physical Therapy, current licensure, and preferred supervisory experience. A state and national PT Association membership is favored. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Must be a BS or MS in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or registered where practicing.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Active member of state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides PT services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates parts of the plan to the licensed PT assistant.
• Instructs staff in delegated functions, precautions, problems, progress goals and re-evaluation plans.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short-term and long-term goals for patients, with physician approval.

Physical Therapist, PT - SIGN ON BONUS $5000

NHC HomeCare Greenwood is looking for a Physical Therapist, PT to join our team! The Physical Therapist supervises and participates in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing.
• One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Position Highlights:

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs the physical therapy staff in their delegated functions including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments and programs including the establishment of short-term and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re-evaluations.
