Great River Health Systems is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time position in West Burlington, IA. The role involves evaluating patients, planning rehabilitation programs, and coordinating with a health-care team to promote mobility and reduce pain.

You will educate patients and families on therapy plans and home programs, supervise rehab staff, and document progress in accordance with policy. A BA/BS in Physical Therapy is required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Basic Life Support & First Aid certification required.
• Dependent Adult & Child Abuse mandatory reporting within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy programs to improve mobility and decrease pain.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and home exercise programs.
• Coordinate care with the health team and supervise PTAs and rehab staff.
