Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and apply a variety of treatments while meeting productivity standards and collaborating with the care team and families.

Excellent communication and age-appropriate skills are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations within 24–48 hours of order and for new referrals.
• Develop individual treatment plans with goals and frequency of visits.
• Re-assess progress bi-weekly and adjust plans accordingly.
• Document responses and plan changes in patient charts daily.
