Job summary

Qualifications
- DPT or MPT from an accredited program.
- Current, active Florida Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, mobility training, decompression and traction techniques, and functional rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, and long-term wellness.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge planning within the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, accreditation standards, infection prevention protocols, and PartnerCare policies.
- Promote an exceptional patient experience through compassionate care, communication, and education.

As a Physical Therapist, you'll play a vital role in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and helping patients regain independence following injury or illness. - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university or technical institution
- Current physical therapist license
- At least three years of experience as a physical therapist
- Knowledge of legal, medical, and accreditation compliance
- Alertness and careful attention to detail is required to avoid injury. Must be able to deal with stressful and/or complex situations
- Current physical therapist license
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to physically work with the patient to ensure exercises are performed correctly
