Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, with hours spanning 7am–6pm, focused on non-surgical orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients.
• Complete and maintain required trainings and compliance.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families.
• Attend center meetings as directed by the center manager.

Position: Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: 6400 West Main Street, Suite C Kalamazoo, MI 49009

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-6pm

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience

We have a beautiful outpatient physical therapy office with focus on clinical excellence and staff training to achieve the best patient outcomes. Caseload is primarily non-surgical orthopaedics including specialty areas of sports medicine (collegiate and hight school), spine care, TMD/upper cervical treatment, lower quarter biomechanics and dizziness/concussion/vestibular disorders. Opportunity to work alongside two fellowship-trained orthopaedic manual physical therapists who serve as instructors and fellowship mentors.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations


• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients


• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors


• Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school


• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice


• CPR certification
