Join us as a Physical Therapist at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE / Full-time) to join our team. This role offers a sign-on bonus and the possibility of a float position, working 40 hours per week.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist will practice according to physician instructions and professional ethics, caring for patients across all age groups: pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluate patient history, diagnoses, and treatment goals.
  • Perform objective assessments and interpret findings.
  • Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients and the team.
  • Supervise assistants and aides, coordinate care, and implement treatment strategies.
  • Monitor patient responses and modify treatments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with policies.
  • Participate in discharge planning, community programming, and educational activities.
Secondary Functions
  • Assist with housekeeping, supplies, and patient transport.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and PA licensure.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of general physical therapy experience.
