An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide essential services to patient inmates. This role involves delivering outpatient orthopedic care, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and a valid Virginia license, along with strong communication and leadership skills. This position will be a traveling Physical Therapist Position. The position will mainly be located at facilities within the central region and may occasionally travel to facilities in the eastern region based on the Physical Therapy needs at each facility.
Provide physical therapy services to patient inmates.
Services include outpatient orthopedics as well as Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation / Acute care.
Provide physical therapy evaluations, progress notes, updated plans of care, and discharges.
Collaborate with other Physical Therapy (PT) clinic team members and medical staff to improve patient care.
Assist in Physical Therapy Quality Improvement Measures and Data Collections.
Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department.
