Job summary

Usphysicaltherapy2 is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and superior patient care, with graduation from a CAPTE-accredited program and FL licensure.

We offer mentorship via an in-house APTA-accredited RESIDENCY program, a comprehensive benefits package (401k, holidays, PTO), and opportunities to participate in community service.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current FL license and CPR certification.
• Experience in exercise, sports rehab and manual therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/ initiate treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Document progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Manage care delivered by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Create written plan of care; develop goals and a comprehensive program.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for orthopedics and a thirst for continued knowledge and growth.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current state of FL license, CPR certification
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
