Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Yankton, SD is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team.

You will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, balance, and mobility-related conditions while developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals. New graduates are encouraged to apply and mentorship opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current SD Physical Therapist license or eligibility for SD licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team.
• Desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
• Outpatient experience is a plus but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and patient goals
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy treatments and interventions
• Treat a diverse outpatient patient population with a variety of diagnoses and functional needs
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and strategies to support continued progress
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and members of the clinical team
• Provide a positive, patient-centered experience throughout the course of care
• Follow applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinic standards
