Job description

Edenbrook North and Edenbrook South are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapists to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. Ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance the functional performance of our patients. Physical Therapists will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, supervise support staff, and ensure patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care that promotes their independence and well-being.

Position

Physical Therapist (FT/PT/PRN)

Rates
  • Full‑time hours: $45 to $52 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Part‑time hours: $45 to $55 per hour (depending on experience)
  • PRN hours: $63 to $68 per hour (depending on experience)
Sign‑on Bonus
  • Full‑time schedule: $10,000
  • Part‑time schedule: $5,000
  • PRN: $750
Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance.
  • Identify the need for and make referrals to other healthcare disciplines as necessary to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
  • Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence, improving quality of life, and diminishing or correcting pathology.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
  • Develop personalized care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Create fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of patients.
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence‑based care using proven interventions.
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally and reach their rehabilitation goals.
  • Promote clients’ healthy lifestyles by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Continuously evaluate patient progress, monitor outcomes, and communicate updates effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active state Physical Therapy license in good standing.
  • New graduates are accepted!
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
