Job summary

Millennium Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for our skilled nursing settings in Wheatland and Tipton, IA. You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatment, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Licensure in Iowa and a PT degree are required, with two years of clinical experience preferred. We value patient-focused care and flexible scheduling to meet resident goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy and active licensure in the hiring state.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates independent clinical judgment and problem-solving.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a rehab caseload.
• Supervises other licensed PTs, aides, and students; may have admin duties.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.

ABOUT US:

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Physical Therapist to our staff Wheatland, IA and Tipton, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

PAY:

Negotiable - based on experience

HOURS:

PHYSICAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more physical therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development
