Job description

Oasis Medical and Surgical Wellness Group is looking for PT with New Jersey License for busy multidisciplinary office. The office offers medical, pain management, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, chiropractic and physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment plans (e.g. balance, strength, endurance, pain management etc.) .

· Direct treatment plans to improve mobility and functionality, decrease symptoms and prevent exacerbation.

· Provide therapeutic treatments and procedures (e.g. Therapeutic exercise, Neuromuscular reeducation, manual therapy, etc.).

· Perform examinations for diagnosis and treatment planning.

· Counsel patients about their condition and work towards rehabilitation goals.

· Advise patients on how to manage pain or other symptoms through self-help therapies or assistive devices.

· Update patient health records with treatment plans, discharge instructions and notes on patient condition.

· Maintain professional licensure with state authorities.

· Consult with other health professionals to reach optimal outcomes for patient care.

· Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
* Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-approved physical therapy program.
* Current New Jersey state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Location:

· Glen Rock, NJ : 3 days a week

· East Orange, NJ : 2 days a week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
