Job summary

Millennium Therapy in Waterloo, IA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the skilled nursing setting. We are a patient-focused, therapist-owned company offering flexible scheduling and supportive home-office backing.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and supervising other therapists and staff. You will contribute to clinical program development and training for caregivers, with licensure in the hiring state and 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Physical Therapy and licensure in the hiring state.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good time management, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients/residents, plan care, provide direct treatment.
• Supervise other licensed therapists, assistants, and students when required.
• Participate in the clinical team process and program development.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full‑Time Physical Therapist to our staff in Waterloo, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Physical Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more physical therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
