Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is seeking a devoted Physical Therapist to support our pediatric population. You will implement therapy plans and work directly with children to maximize functional recovery, while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team for well-rounded care.

NJ licensure is required; school certification with IEP experience is a plus. Weekend/holiday rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Actively licensed as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant in NJ.
• Experience with pediatric rehabilitation and schools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Physical Therapy programs that focus on pediatric rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient progress
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded patient centered care

The Physical Therapist’s overall responsibility is to manage the care of the resident and manage the quality of all related outcomes. The therapist participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, manages resources to meet the needs of the patient/resident and related customers balancing outcomes and cost effective and efficient treatment.
