Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our pediatric care team. The PT will administer treatment techniques and modalities for children from birth to 21, collaborate with disciplines, and contribute to family-centered care.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, adherence to APTA standards, and engagement in patient and family teaching while supporting our mission to deliver exceptional pediatric rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Per Diem Physical Therapist tojoin our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Marlton, NJ. This position is not benefit eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist (PT) is anintegral member of the rehab team. The PT is responsible for the administrationof appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation ofchildren aged birth to 21. The PT Responsible for adherence to the scope andstandards of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association.The PT uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniquesto achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centeredcare. The PT participates in patientand family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.The PT plays an integral role infacilitating functional performance through the integration of skilldevelopment, strength and movement, play based activities, and social-emotionaldevelopment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. BS in Physical Therapy from an accreditedprogram, MA/MS/MPT/DPT preferred
• 2. NJ licensure for physical therapy
• 3. CPR certification
• 4. Minimum of 2 years previous pediatric experience(medical or educational settings preferred)
• 5. Postgraduate pediatric experience in both medical and educational settingspreferred
• 6. Strong organizational / time managementskills
• 7. Excellent oral and written communicationskills
• 8. Ability to work well as a team member
• 9. For Telehealth Services: If treating a patient that is physicallylocated outside of New Jersey, the treating therapist must comply by the rulesin accordance with the state licensing board in the state where the patient isphysically located
• 10. Minimum of 3 years experience preferred
