Job summary

Orthopedic Institute of PA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on developing and administering treatment programs to improve function, reduce pain, and promote patient well-being, in a patient-centered, collaborative environment.

You will provide skilled treatment plans, document confidentially per HIPAA, and maintain positive relations with facilities and staff. Requirements include APTA-accredited degree, PA license or eligibility, CPR certification,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
• Current Pennsylvania Physical therapy license or license eligible
• Outpatient experience preferred, not required
• CPR certification is required

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with the physician’s orders
• Establishes a physical therapy diagnosis, treatment plan and creates goals for the patient according to their evaluation
• Maintains a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients
• Maintains patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and administering physical therapy treatment programs designed to improve function, reduce pain, prevent disabilities, and promote the overall health and well-being of our patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with the physician’s orders.
• Establishes a physical therapy diagnosis, treatment plan and creates goals for the patient according to their evaluation.
• Maintains a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Maintains patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Complies with the Pennsylvania State Physical Therapy Act, codes, and regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Current Pennsylvania Physical therapy license or license eligible.
• Outpatient experience preferred, not required.
• CPR certification is required.
