Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a school setting in Tucson, AZ. You will work closely with special education staff to provide services that improve mobility, motor skills, and functional independence for students.

Ideal candidates will have a DPT and be licensed in Arizona, with experience serving children or in school-based settings. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • License to practice Physical Therapy in Arizona is required.
  • Experience with children or adolescents is preferred.
  • Pediatric, school-based, and/or special education experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide PT services to students individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support IEP goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and positioning strategies as appropriate.
  • Document progress and maintain confidentiality.

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Tucson, AZ.

This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the mobility, motor, strength, and functional skills they need to participate successfully in school and everyday activities.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with special education staff and other members of the educational team to provide individualized physical therapy services to students. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing physical therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' physical and functional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and intervention plans
  • Supporting students with mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and gross motor development
  • Helping students improve functional mobility and safely participate in school activities
  • Recommending adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and mobility supports as appropriate
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
  • Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies
Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist license appropriate for practice in Arizona
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
  • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Pediatric, school-based, and/or special education experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy, motor development, mobility, and functional needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
