Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct inpatient care in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting. The role includes supervising treatments, performing patient assessments, and developing personalized care plans to support recovery.

Current licensure, CPR certification, and either a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification is required.
• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient physical therapy care to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Address patient concerns and communicate progress with care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery and celebrate progress.
