NOVACARE Silver Spring in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Per Diem Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide flexible coverage in our outpatient orthopedics program. You will join a supportive team, manage a diverse caseload, and help patients regain function with evidence-based treatments.

The role requires at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience and a currently licensed Physical Therapist. No new graduates.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Current state license or eligibility to practice in the state of Maryland.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehab services: evaluate, treat, document patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Communicate with patients, families, and physicians; participate in team meetings.
• Document care plans and progress notes accurately.

Per Diem Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: NovaCare in Silver Spring, MD

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $45- $55 /hour

Are you an experienced outpatient orthopedic physical therapist seeking flexible hours and a supportive team? At NOVACARE Silver Spring, we’re seeking a PRN clinician to provide as‑needed coverage that aligns with your availability, perfect for someone who values work‑life balance and autonomy. Coverage needs will include both our Silver Spring locations and the surrounding NovaCare outpatient centers in Montgomery County.

About the Role:

This PRN opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist with at least one (1) year of outpatient orthopedic experience. We cannot consider new graduates at this time.

You’ll treat a diverse patient population ranging from teens to older adults, with conditions spanning:

• General orthopedics
• Sports injuries
• Neurological rehabilitation
• Oncology (ReVital)
• POETs (Post-Offer Employment Testing)
• ACL rehabilitation
• Fall prevention programs

Our center operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. We’re looking for a skilled clinician to support our team during peak times and cover shifts as needed.
