Overview

NovaCare in Laurel, Maryland is looking for experienced outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapists for per diem (PRN) coverage. This opportunity is ideal for PTs with 2+ years experience who desire flexibility and a strong work‑life balance. We will align our Prince George’s County coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that truly works for you.

You’ll work with a diverse orthopedic population and have access to a variety of specialty areas across our outpatient network. Each location includes experienced, supportive clinicians eager to collaborate and help you grow your skill set while making a meaningful impact in our shared communities.

NovaCare’s 50+ standalone OP centers all use the same EMR, with consistent volume expectations and patient‑centered, ethical practice. We are unable to consider new graduate physical therapists for per diem/PRN opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document care
• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
• Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
• Participate in team meetings

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Current state physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
• CPR certification
