Job summary

Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team in a SNF/LTC environment. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and provide skilled PT services to improve mobility and independence.

The role offers flexible PRN hours, collaborative interdisciplinary work, and opportunities to provide additional coverage as needed. PA licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current PA Physical Therapist license or eligible.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized PT treatment plans.
• Provide skilled PT services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Perform evaluations, progress assessments, and discharge planning.
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using Net Health and PCC.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other care team members.
• Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans, safety, and mobility strategies.
• Promote resident independence, safety, and quality of life.

Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

This is a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist looking for flexible PRN hours while working in a supportive Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) environment. Help our residents improve mobility, regain independence, and achieve their highest level of function.
