Start your next adventure with the Fitness Forum Physical Therapy PLUS!

We are searching for a FULL TIME/PART-TIME/PRN Physical Therapist to join our PT PLUS mobile rehab in the Severna Park, MD area.

Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS is an innovative mobile rehab model that brings outpatient (Part B) therapy directly to patients' homes. It serves more active individuals focused on maintaining independence, recovering from orthopedic injuries, or achieving personal fitness goals. This role offers the advantage of spending more time with each patient and managing a smaller daily caseload compared to a traditional outpatient clinic. If you enjoy outpatient work but prefer fewer patient visits per day with the ability to provide personalized care without time constraints, this role is ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries (e.g., joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, spinal procedures) or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., back pain, arthritis).
  • Manage a diverse orthopedic caseload: Treat injuries, pain, or movement dysfunctions, and active older adults focused on mobility and injury prevention.
  • Create personalized care plans emphasizing strength, mobility, balance, and pain reduction.
  • Spend more one-on-one time with each patient, focusing on quality care rather than volume—ideal for patient-centered outcomes.
  • Provide care in homes, fitness centers (SPCC), or other community settings, ensuring sessions are functional and relevant to real-world activities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.

Is Aquacare PT PLUS the Right Fit for You?

This role is ideal for a physical therapist who:

  • Enjoys outpatient work but prefers a lower daily patient volume, allowing for more time per session and deeper patient connections.
  • Has experience or interest in orthopedic rehab and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Thrives in autonomous, community-based settings and values the flexibility of mobile care.
  • Values patient-driven outcomes and creating personalized care plans tailored to individual goals.
  • Prefers varied environments, from patients' homes to parks and fitness centers, to keep sessions engaging and functional.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Active PT license in Maryland or part of the PT Compact Program.
  • Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy recognized by CAPTE.
  • Valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Physical Therapist license (required), CPR certification (preferred).
