Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver and supervise PT services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including Ballard and Issaquah clinics. You will perform patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, re-evaluate progress, and participate in discharge planning.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, Washington PT license, and Basic Life Support (BLS)

Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of physical therapy services. The PT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care and reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient. Provision of care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients may be required. Coverage of both inpatient and outpatient services may be required at the Ballard and Issaquah clinics. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.
