Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver and supervise OT services across inpatient and outpatient settings at Ballard and Issaquah clinics. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized care plans, implement treatments, and participate in discharge planning while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited OT program, WA OT license, and BLS certification.

Description

The occupational therapist (OT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of occupational therapy services. Upon referral, the OT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient. Provision of care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients may be required. Coverage of both inpatient and outpatient services may be required at the Ballard and Issaquah clinics. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.
