We are hiring for a Physical Therapist at Assured Home Health in Redding, CA. Relocation assistance available

Salary range: $115,000 to $125,000 per year

Sign-on bonus: $10,000

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) in Home Health is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment, the therapist develops a treatment plan, performs interventions to improve patient well-being, and evaluates progress.

• Evaluate the patient's functional status and physical therapy needs. Assist the physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Observe and report the patient's response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning according to accepted standards of practice.
• Instruct and inform the healthcare team, the patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

Education and Experience

Licensure Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license in California
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
