LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA seeks a Physical Therapist to provide high quality, patient-centered care, managing the complete therapeutic process in coordination with physicians and care teams.

The PT will assess patients, contribute to individualized care plans, and deliver or direct the majority of physical therapy across the continuum of care, focusing on goal achievement and patient engagement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in direct inpatient rehab.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments, and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (within 30 days of employment)

Preferred

• 1+ years experience in Physical Therapy
• 1+ years experience in direct inpatient rehab
