Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Sachse, TX seeks a full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient services. The role emphasizes contributing to a growing sports/orthopedics clinic with a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation and return to sport.

The candidate will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, document progress using TherapEBridge, and collaborate with a team to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• State licensure or eligibility for Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong manual skills and sports experience preferred.
• Ability to contribute to a growing outpatient sports/orthopedics clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to optimize rehab and return to sport.
• Document patient progress using TherapEBridge with thorough notes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and recovery timelines.

Compensation Depends Upon Candidate's Years Of Experience
Seeking a driven candidate with a growth mindset to contribute to new sports/orthopedics clinic in Sachse TX. We are looking to grow our team with someone to contribute to a positive culture, centered on the patients full rehabilitation and return to sport. Strong manual skills and sports experience preferred. Current clinic hours are Monday and Wednesday 7am - 5 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9 am- 7 pm, and Friday 8 am - 12pm. This may be subject to change with expansion.

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
• Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
