Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team. You will plan and conduct segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, serving as co-leader in patient groups.

Requirements include a Doctor of Physical Therapy, state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification, with two years of PT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• DPT degree required with license date condition or foreign equivalent.
• Two years of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Active state licensure in physical therapy required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention.
• Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTIONIn the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. The Dalles is known for its picturesque views of the Columbia River, local charm and delicious downtown restaurants and bakeries. There is something for everyone in this scenic community.

Job Summary:

Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Education and Work Experience:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent.

Two years' Physical Therapy experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
