Job summary

Simply Innovative Therapies is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide pediatric services for Early Intervention (birth–3) and school-age students across home, school, and community settings on Long Island.

The PT will evaluate and treat children with motor delays and mobility challenges, aiming to improve strength, balance, coordination, and participation in daily activities and classroom routines.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Physical Therapist license is required.
  • Pediatric experience preferred; EI/school-based experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pediatric PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings.
  • Address gross motor development, balance, strength, coordination, posture, gait, and mobility.
  • Implement evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions to support functional movement.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills.
  • Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports.
  • Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with NYS and APTA guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to providepediatric physical therapy services for Early Intervention(birth–3) orschool-age students across home, school, andcommunity settings on Long Island. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat children with gross motor delays, mobilitylimitations, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic impairments, andfunctional movement challenges. This role focuses on improvingstrength, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall functionalparticipation in daily routines and educational environments.

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with families, educators,service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent, effective, and child-centered service delivery.
