Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's DH-YRMC in Prescott, AZ seeks a Physical Therapist to help patients with orthopedic injuries, surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or balance conditions regain mobility and independence.

You will collaborate with a supportive team in a busy, fast-paced environment, performing the majority of treatments and tailoring care to each patient's recovery journey. This role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and peer mentoring within a renowned hospital network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed by AZ State Board of Physical Therapy to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Internship or rotation in an appropriate clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient evaluations and re-evaluations to gauge progress.
• Document all treatments and note status changes.
• Tailor treatments to each patient's recovery needs.
• Seek learning opportunities and mentor peers as needed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients experiencing a wide range of physical challenges—including orthopedic injury, surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or balance conditions—restore their mobility and functional strength so they can regain their independence and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Every day you will collaborate with a supportive team of clinical professionals in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be expected to perform the majority of treatments yourself, delivering direct, hands‑on care tailored to each patient's unique recovery journey.

To be successful in this role, you must thrive in a collaborative, dynamic setting, possess strong clinical adaptability across diverse patient backgrounds, and be eager to actively engage in peer‑to‑peer mentoring and teamwork.

• Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re‑evaluations to indicate the level of progress
• Document all treatments and note any status changes

• Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource when others need to learn from you

Job Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
• Licensed by AZ State Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Preferred

• Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area
• Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
