Medical City Plano in Plano, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength and mobility after illness, injury or surgery. You will work with physicians and the care team to assess needs and develop personalized therapy plans tailored to meaningful goals and active engagement.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.

Formación

• Active licensure as Physical Therapist (Texas).
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress and refine therapy plans with timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices to promote independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
• Lead by example, mentoring therapy assistants or students, upholding hospital values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life

• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist
• Bachelors Degree
