Job summary

Pennypack Rehab and Care Center in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team of health professionals in delivering excellent care to residents.

Responsibilities include conducting physical and psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, advising on adaptive equipment, and creating rehabilitation programs while maintaining up-to-date knowledge to provide the best possible therapy.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification.
  • Experience in Long-term-care preferred.
  • Must be able to work in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments and developing or following a treatment plan.
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
  • Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
  • Evaluating results and progress of rehabilitation therapy.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and the progress of treatments.
  • Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
