Job summary

Pennypack Rehab and Care Center in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team of health professionals. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and help residents regain skills in a compassionate setting.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physical Therapy, is board-certified, and has experience in long-term care. You will work on site with residents, coordinate care, and stay current with best practices to deliver excellent treatment programs.

Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Therapy.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification.
• Experience in Long-term-care preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices for physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and psychological assessments and develop or follow a treatment plan.
• Advise on adaptive equipment to assist daily activities.
• Develop rehabilitation programs to help clients regain skills.
• Evaluate progress of therapy and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain knowledge of treatment progress to provide the best program.
• Assess patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
• Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
• Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Physical Therapy
• Certified by the National Board for Certification
• Experience in Long-term-care preferred
• Must be able to work in Philadelphia, PA
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
