Description

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant (must have indirect license) to work 2 days/week with school-age students in one district in Langhorne, PA area beginning 6/30/25 (orientation week prior) through 7/31/25 and into the 25-26 school year. Additional hours working with preschool students are available in the Bensalem area, beginning this summer session and continuing into the 25-26 school year. ** Financial incentives available!

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

• Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
• Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
• Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
• Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
• Some travel may be required throughout the school day

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
• Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License
• Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
