Stillhouse Rehabilitation in Paris, TX is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program to join a stable team dedicated to geriatric care. The role emphasizes comprehensive screening, evaluation, and plan development, with hands-on rehab and wound care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Perform procedures as part of the rehab plan including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries to ensure regulatory and clinical compliance.

Job description

Stillhouse Rehabilitation in Paris, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Duties

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist license is required.
