Sevita's NeuroRestorative in Paducah, KY is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy to patients recovering from injuries and functional decline. You will assess needs, develop written treatment plans, and coordinate with the care team to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.

Responsibilities include evaluating participants, implementing therapy programs, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with licensure and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• One year’s experience preferred.
• State licensure in physical therapy.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate participants and develop written treatment plans.
• Administer therapy programs and communicate needs to staff; re-evaluate as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation across participant/department files.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation, licensure, ethics and confidentiality.
• Attend programmatic meetings and participate in clinical discussions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff and families to optimize therapy outcomes.
• Participate in staff orientation and program development activities.
• Prepare service summaries and regular billing documentation.

Do you have experience in Rehabilitation Services and want to work for a company that positively impacts the lives of the many individuals it serves? In the Physical Therapist role, you will help us in our commitment to serving others by providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, deconditioning, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

• Evaluate program participants through appropriate evaluation procedures and develops written treatment programs for each participant.
• Administer appropriate treatment programs and communicates program participant needs to appropriate staff. Provides needed re-evaluation and programmatic changes as necessary.
• Maintain timely and appropriate program participant/administrative and department documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation standards, licensure standards, professional code of ethics, and confidentiality.
• Attend programmatic meetings on request for team reports, policy setting, exchange of information, etc.; attends other appropriate meetings/conferences as needed.
• Attend clinical meetings to exchange, discuss, and evaluate program participant treatment programs.
• Serve on rehabilitation treatment team(s). Communicates with physicians, staff, professionals/paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and community resources as needed to ensure effectiveness of physical therapy program.
• Plan and implement in-service programs for staff and other groups as requested/assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in orientation programs for new staff, program participants, and PT/PTA students.
• Write service summaries as requested by case manager/program director and maintains daily billing summaries and turns them into the appropriate staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• One year’s experience preferred
• State licensure in physical therapy.
