Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patient function, design personalized recovery plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to reduce pain and restore mobility in acute, inpatient rehab, or home health settings.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document progress, educate patients and families on safe exercises and assistive devices, and support transitions of care with physicians, nurses, and specialists.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Active state physical therapy license (e.g., Florida).
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift or move patients and equipment up to 50 pounds
