Job summary

APT is a physical therapy company specializing in Outpatient Orthopedics, and we are seeking an energetic Physical Therapist to join our team of clinicians at our Norfolk, VA clinic. This role offers an independent work environment, strong culture, and growth opportunities.

Recent and upcoming DPT graduates are encouraged to apply. You will conduct patient evaluations, plan rehab programs, and document progress using an EMR platform, with a focus on 1-on-1 care and mobility improvement.

Qualifications

• Be licensed, or in the process of becoming licensed, by the Board of Medicine, in the State of Practice
• Be available for a full-time schedule, Monday - Friday, some morning shifts and some afternoon shifts. (40 Hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and plan rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.
• Routinely perform diagnostic and prognostic exams to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint and functional abilities.
• Document assessments and patient progress notes using an EMR platform.

As an APT Physical Therapist, you will conduct patient evaluations and plan rehabilitative programs for your patients that will help improve mobility, relieve pain and increase strength. You will routinely perform diagnostic and prognostic exams to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint and functional abilities in each of your patients and use an EMR platform to document assessments and patient progress notes.
